AI visibility score

A score you can recompute by hand

Three weighted signals over the same eight approved questions. First place is shown separately and adds no weight.
The formula

50% top three + 30% mention + 20% verified-domain citation

score = round(100 x (0.50 x top3/8 + 0.30 x mentions/8 + 0.20 x verified citations/8), 2)

Illustrative example. Synthetic worked week: 4/8 top three, 6/8 mentioned, 2/8 cited = 25 + 22.5 + 5 = 52.50.

Sample visibility score

52.50 / 100

Illustrative example. Synthetic week, 8 eligible prompts.

Top-three rankings (50%)4/8 × 50 = 25 pts
Mentions (30%)6/8 × 30 = 22.5 pts
Own-domain verified citations (20%)2/8 × 20 = 5 pts

score = 50 × top3/8 + 30 × mentions/8 + 20 × citations/8 = 25 + 22.5 + 5 = 52.50

Rules

What the number does and does not mean

Unavailable, never zero

If any of the eight questions failed technically or could not be classified, the week is Unavailable. It is never scored as zero and never re-scored over fewer questions. A completed week with no signals can legitimately score 0.00.

First place is separate

First-place answers are counted and shown on their own. They carry no extra weight in the score.

A mention is not a recommendation

Being named is not the same as being recommended. Recommendation analysis is reported separately and is not part of the score.

Conservative evidence

Ranks come only from clearly ordered lists. Citations count only when the inline citation matches your approved domain. Uncertain results are labeled uncertain, not guessed.
